I’m Back in Malaysia

Allow Me to Clarify Some Matters

Greetings everyone! Thank you for joining me today on another blog. I know I haven’t been consistently blogging and for that, I apologize. Let’s move right along. Due to my video uploads, some of you have asked me whether I am traveling at the moment or back in Riyadh. Allow me to provide you with some details about my postings on social media. When I create content, I don’t necessarily release it immediately. Sometimes I post them days later or even weeks later. Part of the reason is that it does take time to blog and create video content. As some of you who have been with me since the beginning know, I am still new to all of this and it takes me a bit longer than usual. Furthermore, I like to space out my video content, weekly, to allow me the much-needed time to put out content regularly on my YouTube channel.

Visiting a Wonderful Eatery

I’m on an unscheduled trip to Malaysia due to personal family business. While here, I, of course, must eat. So, I made it my duty to make sure I venture out and find some new places to eat at, which offers vegan food options. Presently, I’m in the town of Ipoh. Since I have been here previously, I decided to visit an establishment, LN Fortunate Coffee, I didn’t get to visit on my last tour here. This wonderful eatery has several locations in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. Thus, I visited the branch right here in Ipoh. For the most part, this establishment offers marvelous food. However, the menu does differ a bit from location to location. The first item I ordered was the Lavender Chrysanthemum Tea. It was so aromatic that it felt like I was eating the flower itself. This Dish was Fantastic, Boombastic!

I know many of you may not be lovers of mock meat; however, this blog is about my journey as the Latin American Vegan. As such, I do eat mock meat from time to time. That being said, I had me the Happy Hainan Rice dish.  I must say it was Fantastic, Boombastic! Just take a look at the pic below. The mock chicken was done marvelously. It was crispy on the outside and had a savory smooth taste on the inside. The mock chicken was placed on a bed of lettuce and served with steamed rice. The rice was surrounded with tomato and cucumber. They also provided a simple but tasty sauce to compliment the entire dish. Unfortunately, I messed up this healthy dish and had to order me French fries. You know what? I don’t regret it. The fries have to be one of the best tasting seasoned fries I have ever had in my life. They ever superseded the taste of McDonald’s fries. Yes, I am not joking.

I Need Something Else

Next, on the order, we had a great little dish called the Spicy Fortunate Rice dish. This came with a few pieces of the mock chicken along with tofu slices, pieces of pumpkin, lettuce, cucumber, and a bit of vegetable curry. That’s the first pic, above. While I was craving something spicy, it wasn’t as spicy as it couldn’t have been, but it served its purpose. Although the aforementioned dishes were satisfying, I had to have me a bit of dessert. As many of you may or may not know, I have a sweet tooth. Thus, I ordered two desserts. Don’t fret over it. They were extremely small desserts. The first dessert is called Siew Bao, and it is like a puffed pastry with a bean filling. The second dessert is a chocolate muffin that was exceptionally tiny, but plenty of taste. Nevertheless, both desserts were satiating enough to please my sweet tooth. Just have a look at the pic below.
