I'm Back!

Greetings everyone! After a month hiatus, I am back. As many of you may know, I was away for a good reason. I was journeying throughout Malaysia for the past month. I can’t express the pleasures I had eating on this fantastic excursion. I was in several states throughout the country. More importantly, for those of you who may not know, I started vlogging and posting my videos on YouTube. My vlogs are short and brief for the most part. Please keep in mind, however, that along with being fairly new to the vegan lifestyle, the aspect of being in front of a camera, videoing, and editing raw footage is all completely new to me. This is the first time, I have done anything like this in my life. However, the greatest facet about all of this is that I am bringing you along with me through my journey. You will definitely start to see improvements in my blogs and vlogs as I continue to progress through my vegan journey in life.

So, my trip to Malaysia began at the Avani Goldcoast Resort. It was such a wonderfully tranquil location.  Our stay at the resort was easily one of the best times I’ve ever had in my life. I never left the resort, not even once. We were entertained with bicycle riding, kayaking, and walking on the beach. More importantly, we enjoyed the delightful vegan-friendly food options at the resort. I must admit, at a first glance, the food choices didn’t seem as great. Nevertheless, after talking with the staff and brilliant chefs at the resort, we had plenty of food options to take in and enjoy. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, I can honestly say that this resort truly cares about the services it provides to its guests. To get a better idea of our time at the resort, you can hit the links below for Parts 1, 2, and 3 of my Malaysian Tour.

At any rate, after leaving the resort, we made our way to the town of Sungai Petani (SP). However, before we got there, we stopped midway at the town of Ipoh for a quite bite to eat at a savory restaurant called, Vegan Delights. We tried several different dishes at this establishment and each food item was better than the next. We had Tom Yum Soup, Pan Fried Duck with Orange Sauce, and a tasty Lamb Burger. For a step-by-step review of our time at Vegan Delights, you can take a look at the video on the Gallery section of my website, hit the link below, or simply visit my YouTube channel. It is entitled, Traveling and Stopping for Food: Malaysian Tour Part 4. The stop to eat at Vegan Delights was a short, but sweet one. Yet, after departing from Ipoh, we got back on the road and finally made it to the town of SP in the state of Kedah. The time in SP was well spent. We were surprised to discovery some great food finds.

The aforementioned visit to SP was also captured on video and can be seen under the titles, Spicy Banana Leaf and I’m Just Hungry, Parts 5 & 6 respectively at the abovementioned sites. Although, I am still working on editing the rest of the footage of my trip to Malaysia, I will try my best to bring you weekly blogs. Additionally, stay tuned for my take on the much anticipated and exciting voyage to the World Vegan Day 2018 Weekend. I had a pleasure in meeting an abundant amount of people and trying so many different types of food. It was absolutely incredible. On a different note, I am currently traveling to the State of Michigan and will be bringing you vlogs about my vegan food experiences there. Well, I have several matters to attend to at the moment. Notwithstanding, I’m looking forward to your continued support of my blog and newly formed YouTube channel. My YouTube tag is, The Latin American Vegan.
